Ahisma Grant
Once again Voice for Animals received a $10,000 grant from the Ahimsa Foundation
of Massachusetts to be used for spaying and neutering and for paying medical expenses
for some very needy animals.
Our goals, however, are bigger than this and we need your help to make them
happen: We want to spay/neuter and provide medical attention to every needy animal
we encounter. The fewer animals there are, the more medical attention that is
available to those who cannot afford it, the fewer animals who will suffer and
die long, painful deaths.

The following is a list of alternatives to Premarin (made from pregnant mare’s urine.)
Premarin keeps mares chained to catheters throughout their pregnancies and sentences
foals to slaughter at four months and mares to slaughter once they are themselves
menopausal.
